Multitalent artist Jamell NYT has been on the rise since 2017 after relocating to NYC from Burlington, Vt. Not being one to take no for an answer, NYT began to promote his music on local subways. The opportunity arose for him to be featured on “Subway Creatures,” and his career began to look up. He was invited to perform at The Steve Harvey show for the 2019 ball drop in Time Square with Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger. Instead of relying on others, NYT learned how to produce, write, engineer, and promote his music independently.
Last month, he linked up for his first major collaboration with Harlem rapper Maino for their new song “Problem.” The energetic record is a perfect mixture of R&B and drill music. Check out their new record below.
