Issues – [Saint Kid]

18-year-old rapper Saint Kid has released his new single “Issues,” a raw and emotional look at loneliness and isolation. The song was inspired by Saint’s own experiences moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. “I started this song with just the chorus a year ago, a month after I moved out of my hometown to make music in LA,” Kid says. “During that time, I was losing touch with a lot of friends and getting out of a strained relationship. This song came out of feeling alone in Los Angeles, even though I was where I had wanted to be my whole life.”

“Issues” is a song that will resonate with anyone who has ever felt lost and alone. In addition to its personal significance, “Issues” also marks a new direction for Saint Kid’s music. The song is different from his previous releases in its maturity and emotional depth.

“In the last year I’ve matured and my entire perspective on life and my creative process has shifted,” Kid says. “The new goal is not to just put music out but to be intentional with it and take my time to make something that represents me as a person.”
