Vic Mensa releases his highly anticipated project, INNANETAPE. This is Mensa’s 3rd project if you’d like to include his first solo EP tape, Straight Up and Trap House Rock with former band, Kids These Days. INNANETAPE will more than likely leave you speechless, track after track is a hit. Features on the tape include Chance the Rapper, Ab Soul, Rockie Fresh, Joey Purp, Kenna, BJ the Chicago Kid, Thundercat, and Jesse Boykins III. Something very eye opening to me was all the production on the tape by Vic Mensa himself! It also includes superb production from Peter Cottontale, Cam for J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Hit-Boy, Michael Uzowuru, and Om’Mas Keith to name a few. The tape is very melodic in which every track has it’s own mellifluous flow. Vic left us waiting for awhile, yet he would release songs and videos from the tape periodically leaving us on the edge of our seat. Needless to say, the time spent on the project was well worth it, congratulations to Vic Mensa on INNANETAPE, as he’s bringing a new sound to the music industry.
