I Find It Hard – [iann dior]

Some artists have truly done a lot for me, so no matter where they’re at in their careers now, I am never quick to forget about the influence or impact that they had made on me at some point or another. It has been a little bit since I last kept up with iann dior, but a few years ago, he was pretty much the only artist you’d hear blasting out of my speakers no matter what situation I was in. I loved his punk-inspired sound that was mixed with a new-school style, and while he has gone on to become one of the biggest talents in the entire music world, I just don’t really listen as much as I used to.

I think he took a route that led him more into a mainstream, pop-forward sound that clearly has done wonders for his notoriety, and while this is something I truly respect and applaud, I am just preoccupied with other artists that very well might go and take a similar path that iann did. Nonetheless, he is a superstar, and I am beyond excited for him after dropping “Mood” with 24kGoldn which ended up in the number 1 spot on the Billboard Top 100 chart as well as being nominated for various awards including the VMAs, Billboard Music Awards, the AMAs, and an iHeart Radio award, amongst other accomplishments like work with massive names like Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Barker, and Trippie Redd.

It has been a while since I have written about him simply because it doesn’t seem like these articles would ever make a dent in the impact that his songs produce, but when he surprised fans with his Ambezza and Joe Reeves-produced song “I Find It Hard” alongside a video treatment courtesy of the great Sam McGrath, I couldn’t resist. The song is just about as catchy as any other record he has put out in his career, so you can expect it to be stuck in your head for weeks after just one listen. The visual features a ton of footage that was shot while on tour as well as some other scenes that were more planned out and well-executed, so all together, this is yet another release in a long line of unforgettable offerings from the one and only iann dior.
