HomeGrown 2015 (Written Review)

On April 25th, thanks to Vivid Live and SPKRBX, Portage Theatre was definitely the place to be as Hurt Everybody, Post Malone, Leather Corduroys, Logan, Saint Millie and many more rocked the building.

Hurt Everybody and Logan surprised fans by performing hit single “YUNO” together for the first time live in Chicago. The audience came together in jumping form as they had the chance to see the blossoming group perform argueably their best show yet.

The Savemoney boys were on fire yet again as Leather Corduroys blessed the fans with a few hits from their Season tape – they even concluded their set with our favorite Joey Purp track, Irie Trill Vibes. The dynamic duo of Joey Purp and Kami continues to build, and it won’t stop anytime soon, especially if shows like this continue to take place.

The event concluded with the saucin’ sensation, Post Malone, performing a few of his popular tracks including his latest piece “Too Young.” Post subdued the crowd as everyone in the building huddled up to witness “White Iverson” live for the first time in Chicago. If you missed out on HomeGrown 2015, then you missed out on a beautiful event that brought everyone in the city together. We’re ready for HomeGrown 2016 – thanks for an incredible night!

We have a photo gallery + recap video of the event coming soon!
