Top Dawg artist SiR is set to drop his second studio album, ‘Chasing Summer’, later this month, and today’s he’s giving listeners a peek of what to expect with a new single titled “Hair Down”. Featuring his fellow labelmate Kendrick Lamar, “Hair Down” embodies SiR in his element, showcasing the Inglewood native’s signature smooth vocals atop steady, lush RnB production.
In the accompanying music video, director Jack Begert captures the weightlessness and empty feelings expressed in the song, leading a viewer to continuously question reality through illusive visuals. SiR cruises around in a floating car as he gets high in the backseat and Kendrick makes a low-key appearance, obscuring his face under a hood for the majority of his verse.
Watch the mesmerizing video for SiR’s “Hair Down” below, and stay tuned for ‘Chasing Summer’ which is set to drop August 30.
