There has been plenty of excitement and hype around Chance and his brand new mixtape “Coloring Book” in the past couple of days, but one thing that went over many people’s head is that hours before the release someone leaked a new Chance song titled “Grown Ass Kid.” According to a tweet that Chance sent out yesterday, this track wasn’t even suppose to be on the album, yet it’s light years better than what most of the top rappers have been putting out. The first thing that will catch your attention is undoubtedly the flawless production handled by Cam O’Bi, right before Mick Jenkins starts the record off with one of the best verses I have ever heard from him. After that Chance steals the spotlight as he laid an impeccable verse, before Alex Wiley jumps in adding an impressive feature to end this masterpiece. If you’re one of the few people who haven’t heard the previously mentioned project you can do so here, but for now take a listen to “Grown Ass Kid” below.
