Okay, admittedly, I don’t know the first thing about Latashá, but the second I heard the overwhelming excitement and astounding joy of her latest release, “Glo Up (Remix),” I couldn’t help but rush over to the site and begin a writeup about this one. Maybe it’s the dance-induced feel of the song, maybe it’s the fusion of raw, galvanizing energy with a truly impressive lyrical performance, or maybe it’s Latashá’s unapologetically proud charisma, but this song checks every element of a good song off of the list.
As the weather changes and the sun-soaked enthusiasm of the summertime comes out, this song will act as a perfect addition to my playlist, and for that, I have to thank Latashá. “Glo Up (Remix)” provides an anthemic opportunity to be yourself and enjoy the moment, so don’t take this one for granted.
