Joey Purp comes at us again with a certified banger called “Girls @.” He recruits debatably one of the best artists in the game and fellow Save Money member Chance the Rapper, and they completely body every verse of the track. With production by Knox Fortune that is very minimal but effective, you can feel the fun they have while making music, as well as the talent that just seems to come so naturally. This song pretty much beckons any and all girls, as can be seen from the title. The best part about this song is the fact that Chance doesn’t outshine Joey whatsoever. You would think that a globally recognized talent would blow a smaller but extremely talented artist out of the water, but they fit in so well together that the popularity factor is a complete afterthought. One can almost go as far as saying that Joey steals the show, which would make sense considering it’s his song. All in all, there is nothing ridiculously intellectual about this song; it’s just a song that’s fun to listen to.
