It’s been a year since we received a visual offering from Chattanooga native, Michael Da Vinci. He marks his return with the release of a new song and video titled, “Get Money/What It Seems.” The new visual follows a day in the life of Da Vinci, working at the local store, mopping floors and rapping on his porch. The video begins with a series of darks shots leading up to a sudden beat change that also directs the video to a new frame. The heavy vocal intro gives way to an assortment of strings and horns that switches the entire vibe of the DIY production. Storytelling his newfound hunger for success, Da Vinci is captivating in painting a picture with his words detailing where he has been during his brief hiatus.
