“When people listen to my music, I want them to escape their reality and come right into Tia’s world. I want people to feel like they are on drugs without even taking drugs. I’m naturally animated and try to treat my life like one big colorful cartoon so that probably comes across in the sound of my music” – TiaCorine
Winston-Salem, North Carolina superstar TiaCorine releases a dynamic new song titled “Gas Station.” Accompanied by a creative music video, Tia flaunts a fast-paced trap flow over a playful bass-heavy instrumental. Serving as her first single release of 2022, the overall bounciness of the record aligns with the artist’s genre-twisting reputation. Visually TiaCorine’s outfit is very much resembling of a lead anime protagonist’s with purplish-blue hair for a standout touch. Thematically, Tia specifically plays the role of Bully, from the iconic (2006) Rockstar-developed video game of the same title. With both black Air Force 1 energy and gothic-geek appeal, TiaCorine once more pushes the boundaries of traditional characterization, while simultaneously rejecting musical boxes.
