Malik Ninety Five is an artist who I got the chance to chop it up with a couple of weeks back. The up and coming artist has begun to turn some heads and it’s truly only the beginning for him.
The New Orleans native just dropped a brand new offering entitled, “Friend or Foe” that’s definitely worth checking out. What’s so cool about this track is that you can most definitely feel every lyric that Malik is spitting. The rising artist started out producing, but always had a fascination for rap, so it’s so cool to see that innate passion flowing from him. On the phone, Malik explained to me that for the majority of this brand new song, he was essentially freestyling the whole thing while taking influences from his roots but making sure to mix in the west coast vibes as well.
