DESIIGNER, 16yrold, and DJRellyRell are 3 names that you need to know right now. Today, they’re back on our pages with a hard-hitting single titled “Friday The 13th”. When I think of the name DESIIGNER, I tend to think of a certain ominous style, focusing on quickly-moving verses and adlibs to fuel its energy. But this song shows us the rapidly-rising talent’s versatility in a lens I simply haven’t seen through before. It does include the signature adlibs and energetic deliveries, but “Friday The 13th” is very controlled, infectious in its looming hooks and easy to latch onto with melodic, deeply-cut production from 16yrold and DJRellyRell. My eye drifted from DESIIGNER for a minute, but now that it returns, I definitely see great growth from the young artist and a hell of a lot of potential. I’ll be keeping “Friday The 13th” on repeat for quite some time, and so should you. Take a listen below.
