Nashville’s rap scene got stronger this month with the return of Blu100 who had been locked up for a time, interrupting his music career, but now Blu is “Fresh Out Da Crocs” and back home with something to prove and with the help of ShotByMooch he put together his first-day-out track that serves as Blu100’s Lyrical Lemonade debut. He takes on an upbeat, trunk-shaking instrumental complete with a lilting piano melody that serves as a strong backdrop for Blu to talk his shit and get everything off his chest that he’s been waiting to unload. I hope Blu can stay consistent for the rest of this year and would love to hear a project from him before 2022 comes to a close.
