Memphis rapper YNC Capo has been slowly but surely building a dedicated fanbase in his city and the youthful talent looks poised to take a major next step with his WSHH-premiered visual for his addicting track “Feeling Like Kevo.” He deviates from the current Bluff City style slightly and seems to be influenced by the ever-morphing and exploding melodic rap style that breeds catchy hooks and verses, and Capo is clearly already beginning to master this sound. His charisma is undeniable and his mixture of confidence and talent is certain to take him far. There is no doubt in my mind that YNC Capo is next up out of Memphis and is already poised to keep the city’s hot-streak of new artists alive. I am very excited to see where he can go from here and am eager to hear his future music.
