Like anything that comes with a parental advisory warning, if music video that comes with an epilepsy warning, you know it’s gonna be wild. That’s why Sage English’s “Eatin'” visuals are must watch… unless you have epilepsy, I guess.
Making his Lyrical Lemonade debut, Sage delivers in all facets. Even with a frenetic, thunderous beat from DJ SwanQo -driven by the relentless bass – English finds a way to skate with a gritty yet remarkably nimble flow and even delivers a hook designed to get stuck in your brain. The icing on the (“eatin'” custom-designed) cake is a feature from Mir Fontane, whose output matches Sage’s energy with a similarly swagger-doused, bouncing approach. Taking an already impressive offering to the next level, Sage also co-directed the video and handled the editing.
A man of many talents, I’m definitely keeping Sage on the radar.
