Especially in the run-and-gun release styles of the internet age, it’s easier than ever for good music to get lost in the crowd. A plethora of incredible talent goes undiscovered all the time, and those who are left creating at the end of the day are the artists who truly care about the quality and authenticity of their art as opposed to instant success or virality. One artist who I’ve had the pleasure of watching come up in this manner is Massachusetts native LiBossi, who is back on our pages today with a brand new music video for “Difference.”
Maybe it’s the home videos of LiBossi as a baby at the beginning of the visuals or maybe it’s the reflective nature of the song, but “Difference” is a perfect time to reflect on what LiBossi brings to the table with every release. Backed by a hypnotic instrumental — fit perfectly for the summer weather — and a thoughtful, well-executed slew of vocals, this offering perfectly displays the unwavering pride that LiBossi takes in his art. Not once has he abandoned his impressive vision or high threshold of quality; rather, LiBossi is playing the long game with his music, and “Difference” is a reminder that it’s only a matter of time until it works out.
That said, this is a refreshing, true-to-self release that I’m sure all of our readers would appreciate, so check this one out below and let us know what you think in the comments!
