Atlanta’s Calaso Check is back with a new video for his track “Detroit” which is a fast-paced new cut heavily influenced instrumentally by the midwestern city’s sound that the song is titled for. Calaso Check and his 2F crew have been surging rapidly over the past several months thanks to a solid work ethic and them consistently flooding the streets with songs and videos and although Check and his counterparts are all very obviously influenced by the traditional Atlanta sound they all work hard to make sure that it is only influenced by the artists who came before them and never copy-cat. Calaso Check flexes his lyrical muscles on “Detroit” proving himself to be one of the most natural born flexers in the A and skates all-over the fast-paced instrumental with his endless bag of flows. I am excited to see where Calaso Check can go from here and I think that he has a very bright future.
