D Sturdy And Fivio Foreign Link Up For Their New Track “Against The World”

You might be familiar with emerging Philly artist D-Sturdy as the young kid who created “Shake Dhat” a certified hit in Philly and on TikTok. Since childhood, Sturdy and his brothers Sou and Spence, better known as the Philly Goats, were always known for their killer dance moves. It was only a matter of time before the world caught on to the movement the trio created. D Sturdy and The Philly Goats have caught the eyes of Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Meek Mill, Tierra Whack, Coi Leray, and many more. Earlier this month, his label Stack or Starve Record, announced a joint venture with Def Jam Records. With D-Sturdy as one of the frontrunners, he is gearing up to drop a string of new releases. His latest single “Against The World” alongside Fivio Foreign is the perfect mix of Philly/Jersey club with a touch of drill.

“The inspiration behind ‘Against The World’ was me feeling like I couldn’t trust anyone at the time. But I put a spin on it and made it my own. A high-energy song.” Expanding on the collaboration, he adds, “Fivio has been supporting me for a minute. He actually brought me out to one of his shows before, so it was only right that we made a song together.”

In the Mirzy Production directed video, Fivio Foreign pulled up to Philly’s Abbotsford Projects to shoot alongside D Sturdy’s family and friends as he cruised through the city. This single serves as the first offering from D Sturdy’s upcoming project slated for later this year. “Against The World” is now available across all streaming platforms.
