CRACCIAVELLI – [Lil CraccRocc]

Birmingham-by-way-of-Gadsden, Alabama rapper Lil CraccRocc is the latest artist off the TruckLoad Entertainment roster which has already produced a rising star in TLE Cinco and a regional sensation in the making with TLE Petty and stylistically CraccRocc is very similar to his TLE counterparts but boasts a much deeper voice and different flow altogether from the aforementioned who arguably originated the “Birmingham flow” as a whole. His debut mixtape CRACCIAVELLI dropped recently and was a very promising introduction to Lil CraccRocc who is equal parts rough around the edges as he is reflective and honest which is typically the best way to be for artists, at least in my opinion. His vocals are gruff and menacing and is definitely well on his way to putting himself on alongside his TruckLoad teammates.

TLE Cinco joins him on track two “Blitz” where the pair trade bars over a stripped-back and melancholic BarryAutoo instrumental that both Cinco and CraccRocc walk all over. Big Yavo and TLE Petty join CraccRocc on “In & Out” which was easily my favorite song on the entire mixtape and the trio took on a moody and subdued instrumental that each skated on and I hope that the Birmingham rappers as a whole keep getting on weird ass beats like this, this time coming from Taz who might be more familiar to you as “Let That Shit Ride Tav” who is both the most unique and objectively hard producer in Alabama in my opinion.

Big Yavo makes another appearance on the song “Hot Box” which is a discombobulated but thumping instrumental that sets Yavo up ideally to snap with his endless punchlines and he does exactly that. His bag of flows is endless and is imacculately consistent and has been featured on just about every single relevant Alabama rapper’s project over this past month and I was very impressed by the chemistry that Yavo and CraccRocc showed together on this cut. I can’t wait to hear more from Lil CraccRocc and really, really enjoyed this debut and am excited to see where he goes from here.
