Cold Feet – [SEB]

Love often arrives with a sense of reliance. It’s about knowing that someone is in your corner in both your best and worst times, and furthermore, it’s about knowing that there’s always someone to look to when things become daunting. Painting an emotive detailed image of such, a fantastic artist by the name of SEB is here with his new single, “Cold Feet.”

Coming off of his stellar EP, Pulp, SEB is definitely on a hot streak right now, and he certainly isn’t holding back with the masterful songwriting of “Cold Feet.” Shifting the image of love into a perspective that we don’t usually hear about, this offering focuses less on the affection itself and more on its impact on a person’s life. As the song progresses, the partner at hand starts to get “cold feet” about everything, bringing into question the strength of the relationship at hand. In turn, the song breaks and repairs a bond, exuding a rollercoaster of emotions in the process.

With this in mind, when paired with the comforting strum of the guitar and the lively presence of the percussion, the song acts as a seamless display of the power of illustrative music — and the best part is, it does so while telling a story that I’m sure many listeners can relate to in some way, shape, or form.

That said, Seb has done it once again with yet another stellar, pop-induced offering, so be to show some love and check out “Cold Feet” below!
