Even though Soundcloud is dwindling down, there are still plenty of gems to be found if you look hard enough. Koi is the newest crooner who’s sound is still unpolished but I still find myself coming back to playing his single “Coffee.” Like most of the tracks on his Soundcloud profile “Coffee” is self-produced by Koi as well. With his music and production still in the earlier stages, I can’t wait to see how much his sound improves in 2019 as he continues to garner attention. He recently released another track in mid-December entitled “I Can’t Tell The Truth” which listeners should check out too. With no projects under his belt, the new year should provide more clarity on the direction Koi decides to go.
