Over the past few years, Chicago has established itself as one of the most talented cities when it comes to the genre of hip hop. With legendary names such as Kanye West, Common, Lupe Fiasco, R Kelly, Twista & more – it is safe to say we have quite the foundation. That list of greatness only continues when we begin to talk about the new era including names such like Chief Keef, Chance The Rapper, Lil Durk, Vic Mensa – just to name a few booming artists. Not only did we originate the drill sound, but we also have a newfound jazz-influenced sound. It is really hard to put Chicago in a box as far as sound goes when it comes to hip hop, we truly have it all. With this city now being on the radar, you never know who is going to blow next. We have an adequate amount of young artists that are soon to be “the next wave.” Yet, there is one particular Chicago native that has something special about him, his name is Famous Dex. This guy is something that the city has never seen before, he can not only appeal to the drill fans, but he can also appeal to the hipster kids. He can make you laugh, and bob your head at the same time with his humorous hooks and dance moves.
