Boston is currently bubbling with promising young artists, and it seems like every day I find myself stumbling upon a new talent from the city’s budding scene one way or another. Today, this discovery is LiBOSSi, an artist who is here on our pages to bring the energy with his latest offering, “Cheryl David”. This ode to the Curb Your Enthusiasm actor may be an unlikely prospect, but the unique take that it brings to the table along with the overpowering passion and warm-weathered sound makes it well worth a listen. LiBOSSi complements the emphatic production courtesy of Laiko with controlled flows, and overall, “Cheryl David” is a song that I can’t seem to keep off of repeat, transporting us out of the winter and into the warmth of the summer using nothing but illustrative lyricism and infectious melodies. But don’t take my word for it, listen to the Boston artist’s latest single below and let us know what you think in the comments.
