There’s something special about a producer stepping into the spotlight and releasing solo material. As I’m sure we all know, producers are often the ones who set trends in the sounds and styles of popular music, so it only follows that their career as an artist will follow suit. Today, speaking to this very concept, UK native Beau Diako is here with a stellar new release, “Buttermilk,” featuring emawk.
As mentioned, Diako is known for his work as a producer, but quickly makes it known that he has more to offer with the new single. Arriving with an incredible feature from none other than emawk, “Buttermilk” finds its sweet spot in the form of colorful guitar riffs and emotive, colorful deliveries. This marriage between sun-soaked instrumentation and thoughtful vocals is certainly a notable one, but the glue that really ties this release together is the lyrics. Both Diako and emawk channel their respective styles without losing track of cohesivity, and as a result, “Buttermilk” will be sure to touch both the ear and the heart.
That said, while he may be better known for his work behind the boards, Beau Diako is certainly a name to keep an eye out for. Don’t just take my word for it, though — stream the UK representative’s new release at the link provided below!
