HOOK represents somewhat of a high-valued rarity in the music world. She’s rebellious, she’s outspoken, and her energy is downight infectious, but most importantly, she does it all without ever forcing it. HOOK is naturally the kind of character who will be sure to turn heads, and here to make this clear is her debut album, Bully.
11 tracks long, Bully is a culmination of high-octane deliveries over a platter of haymaker-inducing production from none other than Nedarb, who cosigned HOOK with numerous tweets prior to the release of the project. Each and every track seems to heighten the stakes around the “schoolyard bully” character that HOOK creates, and considering the colorful palette of chilling flows and ambitious vocal runs here, Bully quickly takes shape as the kind of release that you simply can’t take your eyes and ears away from.
Needless to say, the debut project from HOOK is a well-executed look into a true attention-grabber, so don’t sleep on this one. Stream the project by clicking play below and let us know what you think in the comments!
