Lil Yachty is officially out of his teen years, and after celebrating his 20th birthday yesterday, he decided to share a special gift with his fans in the form of another Birthday mix. If you missed his mix from last year, the sequel released today titled “Birthday Mix 2.0” is 12 minutes of Lil’ Boat rapping over some of his favorite beats including Rae Sremmurd’s “Perplexing Pegasus” and some other bouncy production from Pi’erre Bourne. Personally, I was blown away by the quality of this latest mix compared to last years, and if that’s any indication of Boat’s evolution & growth, he is definitely on the right track. I won’t spoil it for you though, be sure to let Yachty’s “Birthday Mix 2.0” ride through your speakers and look out for him this weekend as he hosts this year’s VMA’s!
