Thoreau is an artist who has made it onto our pages on numerous occasions before and now he’s back with a brand new offering that might be my favorite piece by him to date. The track, entitled “Better Than The Real Thing” possesses the same type of positive assurance that’s boasted about in the title itself.
Everytime I listen to Thoreau, he just keeps on getting better. His vocals and lyrical delivery on this one are top tier and the production is on another level, which causes the immensely talented artist to shine all throughout this one. What’s even cooler is that Thoreau enlisted help from artists, RO$KO and Snoozegod to round it out. The ambience of “Better Than The Real Thing” is very immersive in the sense that it connects you with all of the emotions that are meant to be portrayed.
