Boston performer Rich Amiri has made a name for himself in the rap game with his thick and prevailing voice that never fails to serve fans some impressive verses. After announcing to the world that he signed to Internet Money Records/10K Projects, Rich decided to drop his latest release, EVOLUTION, which actually serves as his debut project on the newly revealed label. The project is full of hits without a doubt, but one of my favorite standout tracks is his track “Best Friend,” produced by Ayosauce and Radiate. Luckily, Rich decided to drop the hit’s official music video directed by Keaton Jones, one of the rising but insanely talented filmmakers of the new generation.
In the visual, Rich is seen hanging out with two of his best friends at a photo shoot. As the emcee humbly flexes on everyone around him, he also reminds his enemies and previous romances that they can simply never get close enough to him, matching the track’s lyrics pretty seamlessly. Although nothing displayed in this video is severely over the top, Keaton does a fantastic job behind the camera while Rich does exactly what he does best. This release is just the latest offering from EVOLUTION after Rich previously released a handful of other videos to accompany his vibrant and addicting records.
With the project’s release, the Boston spitter has cemented his place in the rap game and has shown his fans that he is not going anywhere but up. As he continues to trend upward and grow his following, he never lets fans forget that he’s not someone that should be overlooked. As Rich continues to evolve as an all-encompassing musician, it’s hard to predict what he has coming out next. In fact, the only predictable thing about Rich Amiri is the fact that he’s going to continue to drop bangers as often as he can, especially with a prominent and culture-defining label like Internet Money/10K Projects in his corner.
