Belly Releases ‘Mumble Rap’ Album Along With A New Video

A few days ago, Belly unexpectedly came through with his first project of 2017 in Mumble Rap, and along with that came a wild visual for the album-track which actually may be one of my favorite videos so far this year. The 11-track tape saw executive production from Canadian producer Boi-1da and only included one feature from Pusha T on the darker, druggier record titled Alcantara. On top of that, the Karena Evans-directed cut is nothing short of amazing as Belly causes havoc with a group of thugs in gas masks who rob a pedestrian amongst other antics, and don’t doubt for a second that the song slaps as well. Toronto’s XO team has basically taken over the Canadian scene in the past years with names like Derek Wise and, of course, The Weeknd; but Belly is somewhat the sleeper of the bunch who always seems to deliver in his music and features (just check out Might Not with The Weeknd.) Nonetheless, I can guarantee you’ll find some new heat to add to your playlist on this album, so be sure to give it a spin ASAP and don’t forget to peep the Mumble Rap video below!
