Bankrobber – [Caleborate]

Berkeley artist Caleborate is here today to make his Lyrical Lemonade debut with new visuals for the hard-hitting single, “Bankrobber”. Coming off of his 2017 project, Real Person, this soulful track bleeds deep into the family roots of the CA rapper, detailing his father’s hustles and how he was able to work for himself and set an example. In this light, it uses an immaculate lyrical performance from Caleborate to reflect on a figure of pure ambition and dedication in the young talent’s life, precisely illustrated with vivid bars and an energetic sound. Complementing these features, the Calmatic-directed, APLUS FILMZ-produced visuals for this song take inspiration from Alanis Morissette’s video for “Ironic,” as each side of Caleborate’s personality is represented by a different outfit – a cherry-on-top touch that only enhances this track’s money-minded motives and themes of being true to oneself. All in all, this Berkeley rapper definitely has our attention with his latest music video, so be sure to show some love and check out his impressive new release below.
