Juicy J isn’t typically an artist I go out of my way to listen to. Not that he doesn’t make good music, but as of late I just usually turn on something else. The fact that I saw Kanye featured on his latest song, “Ballin,” made me hit the link and listen up. The TM88 production goes completely berserk, which is nothing less than what I expected. After listening, I can’t lie that I was slightly disappointed that ‘Ye was only part of the hook where he said three words repeatedly, but Juicy J’s Ebonics are impressive to say the least. He goes in and destroys every verse in the song, and leaves me rethinking my opinion of him as an artist in recent years. It definitely has me scratching my head, wondering what his upcoming album, “The Hustle Continues,” is going to sound like. As we wait for the album, you’re definitely going to want to take a listen to “Ballin” here, and check out the video that is a Tidal exclusive at the moment.
