Chicago’s very own rapper/producer Frank Leone is back with a dazzling new single titled “Bad Things.” In collaboration with the Stones Throw filmmaker & experimental producer Teardrop Estates, the track is accompanied with a stunning all-original Lorenzo Mercanti animation. Leone & Estates will release a full on collaborative LP on March 5th entitled SUNDROP, which thematically is a “tale of burning passion, with songs about ego and lust, built on genre-bending production intended to recall one’s clunky sexual awakening.” The release will follow Leone’s excellent (2020) debut album DON’T. SUNDROP also arrives ahead of Leone’s secret visual project involving acclaimed actor Lakeith Stanfield, director Hiro Murai and FX that will complement his forthcoming musical releases. More details about this project will be revealed at a later date. Meshed with Montgomery’s consistent guitar line, Leone recalls all the bad things that he could want, while his inner conscience reminds him what is and isn’t ‘too far.’ Watch the visual for “Bad Things” by Frank Leone and Teardrop Estates below!
