Usually when you think of Sonny Digital, you think of his work as a producer. Right now, he is up there with Metro Boomin as one of the hottest producers in the game. However, here we find him displaying his rapping skills for a change which he has been doing more of recently. In 2016, the Atlanta producer/rapper started releasing self-produced raps featuring only himself, and I gotta admit that his raps are hot, and that is the case again with his new record “Back In LA.” He was just in Chicago a couple weeks ago opening for Savemoney affiliate Joey Purp, and his set had the Metro bumping with him playing his most famous hits as a producer and rapping on some of his newer songs.
