Fans have been waiting for Striiipes to come out of the shadow for a minute now, and today, the time has finally come. Marking his first appearance on our pages, the Boston-bred talent is here to take the first step toward his takeover with a brand new single, “Baby Flame.”
Acting as an autobiographical effort of sorts, this track puts Striiipes’ essence, mindset, and undying sense of heart into one audio exposé, describing each and every part of his “Baby Flame” persona along the way. Over a bed of mesmeric melodies and towering drum sequences — self-produced, might I add — the budding talent is sure to leave it all on the track, and by the end of the song, there really isn’t much question as to who Striiipes is, despite seemingly coming out of nowhere to release this one. The fact of the matter is that Striiipes is here, and he’s here to stay. “Baby Flame” is just the tip of the iceberg.
