Today we are very proud to premiere, “Anybody”, the latest from Monster Mike and we assure you it is nothing you were expecting from the Chicago rapper at all. Kishie and Dave Jeff laced Mike with a heavy, cosmic sounding instrumental to create a futuristic RnB love song filled with quotables that anyone who has ever had a shorty can relate to. He doesn’t soften anything for us, maintaining the raspy flow we are used to hearing rap about 3.5’s and woods. The only difference this time around is that his drug of choice is love and Mike uses lyrics to paint some real addictive tendencies the dangerous drug can possess. Mike also experiments with singing on the hook but doesn’t over extend himself so it sounds organic, making this one of his most intimate offerings yet and proving that we can always leave it to him to spit some real shit.
