Due to the pace and volatility of social media, the music world has essentially become the Wild West in regards to how new music generates a buzz. Every day, a new song starts to explode on a different platform, and while many of these songs don’t live up to their viral snippets, DMV-bred artist 30h Black is certainly the real deal with his head-turning song, “All Talk.”
Backed by a menacing instrumental, this 4-minute offering refuses to take a step back, delivering a machine-like supply of captivating storytelling and chilling rhymes. Between the strength of his deliveries and the storytelling content of his lyrics, 30h Black doesn’t miss a beat, and as a result, he keeps listeners’ attention for every single second of this one — a rare feat for a 4-minute song in today’s day and age.
This writeup wouldn’t be complete, however, without mentioning the main source of attention for this song: the viral moment beginning at 2:47. 30h Black clears out an entire room of people as he alternates between rapping and shooting, letting loose for quite possibly the coldest set of lines all year.
Don’t just take my word for it, though. “All Talk” is the kind of song that you’ll be running back just to catch every line, so don’t sleep on this one. Show some love to 30h Black and watch as “All Talk” continues to grow like a wildfire in the weeks to come.
