Drayco McCoy has undoubtedly made waves this past year with a handful of releases, and today, he has shared a brand new mixtape titled 8Ton Gorilla which you simply can’t miss out on. The 22-year-olds unique sound has evolved in a matter of months, and that is clearly showcased throughout the entire project laced with 17 tracks of mostly new tracks, and even some older joints such as Wild Child which, in my opinion, could be one of the hottest records he’s ever put out. The Indy-based rapper also tapped a few notable features including FLACO, Finding Novyon, and his partner-in-crime Mathaius Young who also had his hand in several beats on the project alongside Big Cat, Nuez, BlkYth, TayMasterChef, Captain Crunch, Oogie Mane, Mad Bliss, DZY, K Stacks and Lord Fubu on F*ck A Cop F*ck A Opp 2. Drayco’s darker, in-your-face style is unmatched, to say the least, and I’m certain it’s only a matter of time before this man starts getting the recognition he truly deserves.
