The two-year wait is finally over, Inglewood MC, Thurz returns with his first single, “777-9311.” The slow-burn record is a walk down memory lane for Thurz as he recounts old feelings and memories over a sultry production. Thurz recruits the help of Iman Omari and Wali Ali Jr. to bring this painting of momentary love to life utilizing their skills as producers and background vocalist on the entrancing almost spacey record. The new offering from Thurz leaves us hoping for a big year for the California native whose recent dormant activity made us anxious for new music.
