Straight out of Cobb County, GA, Lil Kee is thriving in the rap scene. Widely known for his singles “Fake Sh*t” ft. 42 Dugg and “Catch A Murder” with hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify and over 5M views combined on Youtube, Kee’s talent continues to improve with each release. Most recently, the 4PF signee released his latest single “Letter 2 My Brother”.
Produced by the late multi-platinum hitmaker Turn Me Up Josh, this single displayed a new level of unfiltered emotions. Kee dedicated this track to his late older brother, Lamar, who provided for his parents and his siblings. The melancholic piano chords and wailing guitar riffs mixed with Kee’s powerful lyrics were a beautiful way to honor and carry on his brother’s legacy.
“Every song I make, it’s gonna be something about my brother in it,” Kee shared. “I could make a million songs and it’s going to be something about my brother in it – no matter what. I don’t care if it’s a happy song – my brother is going to be in it no matter what.”
Kee’s ability to turn his pain into stories and share it in his music is mind-blowing. This summer, you can expect a full project ahead of the summer via Four Pockets Full Inc.
