After returning from jail and immediately jumping back into the limelight with “First Day Out”, RetcH is here to show us that he’s not playing around once again with his aggressive new TAKENFORGRANTED-produced single “2-Eleven”. Aside from the hard-hitting production that pushes this track to another level sound-wise, RetcH’s signature gritty style and ominous lyricism simply make this song a must-listen. It’s an honest account of the unforgiving street life that the New Jersey native has experienced first-hand, almost sounding like the aftermath of a storm in terms of the threatening energy that it brings out. However you interpret, it can’t be argued that single doesn’t bang. RetcH only sharpened his skills in jail and I predict that he’ll have everyone talking with a consistent supply of bangers since his release to back it up.
