The rising underground is seeing its most exceptional and forward-thinking acts working to blur the lines between any and all genres in the creation of their own sound — a sound that has no barriers and/or rules, and one that ends up being exclusive to the very artist that takes this approach on a song by song basis more often than not.
This notion truly applies to nearly every artist working in this space in at least some sort of capacity, with everything coming out of the rising pop scene in this light certainly offering a great deal of evidence towards that fact.
Perhaps a sentiment like this can then be exemplified by a number of artists, but none quite accomplish this feat in the same manner as Wido has time and time again.
Their most recent offering entitled“1292forex” is yet another apparent example of how they are in fact working at this and succeeding at doing so with complete and utter ease. This track is an absolute whirlwind of an experience — basking in the unconventional in a variety of ways, yet still making for something of an all-too-appealing final package on repeated listens.
Circling through a number of different instrumental passages with equally divergent vocal lines corresponding with them, the track seemingly never stays on one set path for its entirety. Yet as disconnected that may come off from a spectacle, Wido was able to take these strained pieces and place them together for a seamless and sound run-through. Rather than sounding off-putting in the slightest, these slightly divergent facets build on each other, while also working off of each other in the process to create a resulting piece that is simply artful.
